LIFE UNDER THE RAIN

Chocó is one of the most biodiverse regions, with the highest annual rainfall and one of the wettest areas in the world. Thanks to this, it is home to diverse, unique organisms with striking characteristics, behaviors, and colors that use this well-preserved region as their home. On my first visit to the town of Arusi, I ventured cautiously into the surrounding area, unfamiliar with the place. During these brief explorations, I became familiar with the area and its dynamics, allowing me to understand what life is like in a place where the smell of rain is more familiar than the warmth of the sun. From that experience, the idea arose to photograph some of these organisms, which have grown accustomed to living in the rain.
